The forestry crane M65T has a crane length of 6.5 metres and a lifting capacity of 280 kg at maximum reach. The crane is equipped with a slewing motor with 4 slewing cylinders and has a wide-angle joint, telescopic boom, 3 tonne endless rotator, hydraulic hose connection to the crane column and rotator, rotator link without pending brake, FB160 grapple and control block. The forestry crane has a lifting torque of 25 kNm (gross) and a slewing torque of 8.5 kNm.
The top-mounted lifting cylinder offers the best lifting capacity in a normal working range at around 4 metres from the slewing gear. The main boom is curved to achieve a better lifting moment at the “correct” reach of 4 meters.

Forestry cranes are normally used together with timber trailers, depending on the load capacity and desired crane reach. They are normally installed directly on the prepared crane base of the trailer.
Another way to install loader cranes is to mount them on agricultural tractors – they are mounted on a 3-point hitch and connected to the tractor’s 3-point linkage system. Forestry cranes are also often used for wood chippers, splitters, etc. Crane operation is the safest and most efficient way to feed the material.
All our cranes are supplied with a boom that is prepared for the installation of a cable winch. This facilitates subsequent assembly when the need arises. The winch – an important tool for effective work – extends the working area and makes it easier to collect individual logs.
Another fairly important accessory for crane operation is the grapple. The M65T crane is equipped with the FB160 grapple as standard. A robust construction, high-quality components and a proven design solution contribute to the long service life of the grapple. The maximum grab opening width is 1000 mm with a grab area of 0.16 m².
Timber cranes can be equipped with different control systems depending on customer requirements. As standard, cranes are equipped with mechanical rotary lever control, but you can also choose to upgrade to ON/OFF, electro-hydraulic control system or even a radio-controlled system.
The recommended oil flow for operating the M65T crane is 25 – 35 l/min.
